Of late, Don’t be sad has developed the Kind blogger badge. Part of the Random acts of kindness project it rewards those readers who kindly participate.
Warm congratulations to the winners of the Kind blogger badge. Only yesterday four winners of this badge were notified and will shortly be proudly displaying their badges at their blogs (if you feel you deserve a badge, or I’ve overlooked your submission please do get in contact with Don’t be sad). .
Kind blogger badges are awarded for supporting the Random acts of Kindness project; principally for submissions which get published at Dont be sad.
The Kind blogger badge represents
-
Published submissions to Dont be sad’s Random act of kindness project
-
Dont be sad’s token of appreciation for continued support
What do I have to do to be a proud owner of a kind blogger badge?
-
Be active- spread the word about Random acts of kindness, practice Random acts of kindness
-
Share your ideas for Random acts of Kindness at the sharing page
-
Please do share any community projects, movements or particular organisations which relate to specific Random acts of kindness posts in the comments for that post (for example see Donate books)
Although these winners have been honoured for their submissions, every visitor at Don’t be sad is deserving of a badge- Don’t be sad requires just an excuse to award them.
Dont be sad would like to express its gratitude to the regular visitors- those who are silent and those who comment- and those supporters of the site who spread the word- you know who you are.

What a lovely blog this is. I am so happy I stumbled upon it! I will be back often
Peace be upon you Kristi,
Good of you to have left a few words of comment.
Do feel most welcome here at Dont be sad.
Dont be sad
PINOYWORLD site is determined to have this badge soon.
This is a really beautiful site! I am so happy that I found it.
On my own site, I try to share some things that I really love. I share quotations that I find to be motivational and inspiring (and often have a particular person in mind who would benefit from the quote, but I post it on the blog rather than just give it to them so that others will benefit from it as well).
I have started sharing some ideas and tips about writing as well as information for people who are interested to submit their work for publication. Whenever I find something worth sharing or reading, I post it.
I don’t know if I would call what I do random acts of kindness, but I do believe that it is important to be kind and that if you live your life with kindness, the world becomes much a kinder place for everyone else.

i love this blog
keep up the good work
This is a very interesting topic.
My blog is usually based on: “Tough Love.”
Love does not always look sweet and pleasant.
Sometimes, love is shown by encouraging awareness to the suffering of others; such as in wars, displacement, ethnic cleansing, starvation, theft of recourses and exploitation of labor, homelessness, corruption, etc…
By becoming aware of the suffering of others, there is a possibility that some may have a change of heart and thus – hopefully, a change in behavior.
I like your blog. It awakes/ helps to exchange the sorrow for self into the joy at the sunlight (by helping other we personally experience the fullness of the happiness) thus your blog serves us as the magic reminder that gifts a key to the desirable peace. Thank you.
Yet the rules for the participation are … above my potency to fulfill, because if I would start to talk about what was done well by me once upon a time, then all my good deeds would look like a boasting for self, and that would be ugly … So, let me just humbly thank you for your memory of other next to you.
God bless you
As salam alaikum
Im soo happy i found your blog today. Just the words you use have brought inner happiness to me that which i havent felt in some weeks.
i feel the need to cry and let everything out, feel ease and relief after hardship.
…. speechless…. with a smile !!
…. have only read a bit of your blog but I’m already happy.
Why? There’s so much focus on negative things these days and hardly any focus on the happy, kind, good & joyful things that life has to offer.
I’m by nature a positive person and I think it’s fantastic that there are more people out there who want to think positive and act positive.
Super! And, THANK YOU!
