[...] Random acts of kindness: Your mother [...]
I have always loved that photo. And what wonderful advise.
I remember when I was young my mother was such a good cook. But all my father did was complain. By the time I was a teenager she stopped cooking good meals. I know it was because she simply lost heart and stopped trying.
All of us need encouragement and a kindly word. Thank you for such wonderful thoughts and good advise.
Amazing photo!
Peace be upon you both,
jayleen- Good of you to take time to comment and contribue your stroy.
I think often however kind we are, we can forget those closest to us. A hug, praise, something extra like expressing ones love or a thank you gift cannot do any harm- but do much good. More than anyone, first comes your mother. And after it your mother. And after it your mother. And then your father.
I never want to go through a day without hugging my mother. And if I can’t, phoning her. If I can’t then writing to her. And if I can’t do that even, thinking of her.
twps- Thank you for visiting. I cannot claim credit for the photograph and I not sure how much the photographer can- its amazement and beautiful are in the very creation, really.
Do come again.
Oh Yeah … !!!! Thats the best thing anyone in this earth could ever do in his/her life. Respecting and obeying mother, the one who took a lot of pain and sacrified many things to bring us in this world.
As-salaamu’alaykum wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu
Insha’Allah all is well at your end Don’t Be Sad.
Lovely advice.
.. and your father, and your father.. everyone seems to forget dad
I know how important Mom is, and well aware of all the advice the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa-salaam) has given us in regards to it, but I never see a post solely on love for you father. (Mine is very special to me, alhumduliLlah) May Allah have mercy on Him. Ameen.
Wa’alaykum as-salaam

I love my mother… she is the most important being on the earth for me…i don’t know how i will live my life without her, as my father has passed away i miss all the little moments we were together…. May Allah bless everyone’s parents…Ameen
Peace be upon you all,
Good of you to take the time join the discussion.
Maryam- Certainly, we could all love our mothers more. And if we did much good would come to the world.
Farhana- Thank you for taking the time to come by, really. Your comment was particularly thought-provoking. Certainly, beginning with loving and honouring ones mother is a beginning from which to honour and love both parents.
You are quite correct, there aren’t many posts for fathers. Might you, or anyone else suggest an act of kindness for fathers? Should it simply be the same as above, or do fathers have different rights?
soulMerlin-Good to see you at Dont be sad again. It is encouraging the post was timely for you. For others, I think something pertaining to mothers, such a close relation, is also always timely.
humaira- Welcome to Dont be sad blog- thank you for commenting. We must all go one day- and parents are irreplaceable. Nobody knows what the futuire will bring so for today be kind and love your mother and serve her.
Please do come again- your contributions are most valued.
May we all love our parents, mother and father, and may be be kind to them always.
