Fill the world with birdsong is finally here.

Over the next couple of weeks, a series of posts considering birdsong will be published. The aim is for us all to appreciate birdsong this spring- it doesn’t require us to become birdwatchers, but just to listen to the beauty in our daily lives. If, by the end of the series we can recognise one or two more birdsongs it would be wonderful.
To get things started, above is an introductory video. The next few posts will contain recordings of birdsong with a few clues about the bird- the challenge for readers is to try and recognise the song or make an educated guess. This series of posts will cover some of the common garden birds. After sometime, a follow up post will reveal the answer for each bird in turn.
How well this works, really depends on your participation. So please do listen, please do share and please do contribute.
